Lab Rules

These are main rules. All safety rules apply as well.

1. Protective google must be worn at any time in the lab

2. Lab coat should be worn.

3. Gloves must be worn when working.

4. Gloves and lab coats are not allowed in the office area

5. If one needs to go outside the lab, one of the gloves must be taken off, and never touch door handles with gloves.

6. The chemicals must be carried in a secondary container at outside of the lab.  

7. MSDS of chemical must be read before working with it.

8. Eating-drinking is not allowed in the lab.
